Input DC24V DC power supply, and the output voltages are:

HV--30KV;

G4--2.5KV~3KV;

G3--(2KV~20KV);

G2--(0.2KV~2KV);

G1--(10V~350V).

G3, G2, G1 are 3-step setting separately, which are used for 9”, 6”, 4.5” respectively.

Installation

Attentions!!! 


It must pay attention as follows before installation!

1.It must ensure the x-ray image intensifier tube is normal working, without the tube discharge, electricity leakage, air admission, and the input screen damage phenomenon.

2.It had better use alcohol to clean the image intensifier high voltage cable connection terminal and dry it in the air. If the high voltage cable connection terminal is not clear, it may cause the discharge after insert into the high voltage power supply and cause the high voltage power supply damage.

3.It must ensure the image intensifier high voltage cable connection terminal insert into the bottom of the HV and fix the high voltage cable. Because if the high voltage cable is loosen, it will cause spark phenomenon and make the high voltage power supply damage.

4.When finish the above steps, but the HV of high voltage power supply still have little discharge phenomenon. It needs to disconnect the power and then pull out the high voltage cable and lay on some silicone grease, and then connect it again. The discharge phenomenon will disappear.

5.It must under dry air environment to install.


Connection Method


1 Output connection method

1.1 HV connects image intensifier anode, and the voltage fixed to 30KV (unadjustable);

1.2 G4 connects image intensifier ion pump electrode, and the voltage fixed to 3KV above (unadjustable);

1.3 G3 connects field-control electrode, and there are three field modes:

Normal Mode: the field of 9”, when leave the factory, the voltage is set to 3.2KV;

Mode 1: the field of 6”, when leave the factory, the voltage is set to 6.5KV;

Mode 2: the field of 4.5”, when leave the factory, the voltage is set to 10KV.

G3 is used to adjust the field view size, that is the image size of image intensifier. (Use G3 adjust knob to set)

1.4 G2 connects the second focusing electrode, and it also has 3 modes.

Normal mode: the field of 9”, when leave the factory, the focusing adjustment is set to 650V;

Mode 1: the field of 6”, when leave the factory, the focusing adjustment is set to 720V ;

Mode 2: the field of 4.5”, when leave the factory, the focusing adjustment is set to 580V;

G2 focusing adjustment is used to adjust the image center definition of image intensifier. (Use G2 adjust knob to set)

1.5 G1 connects the first focusing electrode, and it also has 3 modes.

Normal mode: the field of 9”, when leave the factory, the focusing adjustment is set to140V;

Mode 1: the field of 6”, when leave the factory, the focusing adjustment is set to 150V;

Mode 2: the field of 4.5”, when leave the factory, the focusing adjustment is set to 156V;

G1 focusing adjustment is used to adjust image edge definition of image intensifier. (Use G1 adjustment knob to set)


2 Input Connection Method

2.1 15-pin socket, the connection method as follows

Pin15 (15# )connects +24V;

Pin14 (14#), mode 2, 6” option electrode

Pin6 (6#), mode 3, 4.5” option electrode

Pin8 (8#) connects 0V

Normally, Pin9 and Pin1 are scarcely using

When +24V power supply input, pin15 (#15) the red wire connects +24V, and pin8 (#8) the black wire connects 0V, now, the high voltage works as 9” field and adjust G2 to adjust image focusing.

When pin14 (#14) the green wire and pin15 (#15) the red wire are short circuit, the high voltage works as 6” field and adjust G2 to adjust image focusing.

When pin6 (#6) the blue wire and pin15 (#15) the red wire are short circuit, the high voltage works as 4.5” field and adjust G2 to adjust image focusing.
